Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes continues its expansion in Canada with its newest location located at 3803 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
Boardwalk has experienced brisk growth during the past several years in Canada, with continued plans to open more stores in the future.
Edmonton, known as "Festival City," is the capital city of the province of Alberta and the fifth largest city in Canada. Its popularity enjoys over 30 annual festivals year round, bringing nearby and tourists to the city. Edmonton, with a population over one million people, is geographically in the center of the province, providing an excellent location for locals and travelers to experience the Boardwalk concept.
Boardwalk has been able successfully to take the U.S. beach theme and its popular food to Canada, offering a variety of menu items to please most anyone's palate. Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes soon to develop brand in Qatar.
Continuing its expansion in the Middle East, Boardwalk announces it has entered into an agreement for the exclusive expansion rights in Qatar.
ALQEEAN TRADING & CONTRACTING CO. W.L.L., Multi-unit Developer, will open a minimum of five Boardwalk locations in Qatar over the next six years, with the first location already chosen.
Lease commitment has been made for the first location at the EzDan Mall, Wakra, Qatar is schedule to open April 1, 2018.

Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries Inc. has recently signed on a new franchisee who will be opening a location in Forestville, MD.
Boardwalk's home office is in Columbia, MD and has since 1981, with its original concept Boardwalk Fries, became a household word when referring to french fries. Since its inception, Boardwalk has expanded its concept to include a varied menu and now operates its unit under the tradename Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes.
Dave DiFerdinando, president of Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes, has commented that the newest franchisee, who has signed on for the Forestville location, has additional plans for continued expansion in Maryland and Virginia.
The Forestville location is close to and services, in its demographic area, Andrews Airforce Base as well as surrounding development. Mr. Zakir Chowdhury, who was previously a Boardwalk franchisee, brings not only his past Boardwalk experience, but also his restaurant experience as an America's Best Wings chain owner. Zakir has indicated that he enjoyed his experience previously with the Boardwalk brand and believes it is a good addition in the Forestville market. He will be continuing this expansion of the brand in the surrounding DC beltway area, bringing not only the well-known Boardwalk menu, but adding fried chicken to the line-up.
